William Bleker, M.D.

Vice President, Clinical Safety & Pharmacovigilance

William (Bill) brings over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including pre- and post-market pharmacovigilance and medical affairs expertise, to his role at Parabilis. Most recently, Bill served as Vice President, Head of Medical Safety & Pharmacovigilance at Sutro Biopharma, where he oversaw medical safety strategy, safety operations, PV quality, and risk management across the full portfolio. Prior to Sutro, Bill served as Head of Pharmacovigilance and Safety Risk Management at Mirati Therapeutics where he established the pharmacovigilance department and supported the entire Mirati portfolio including the development of their KRAS-G12C inhibitor, Krazati™.  Bill’s prior leadership roles include head of drug safety at Nektar Therapeutics, Santarus, and Hana Biosciences.

Bill earned his B.S. in psychobiology from the University of California, Riverside, and his M.D. from Centro de Estudios Universitarios Xochicalco Medical School in Baja California, Mexico.
