Tieming Ruan, Ph.D.

Vice President, Device & Packaging

Tieming leads device and packaging strategy, advancing innovative, patient-centric systems across programs at Parabilis Medicines. He brings over 20 years of experience in medical device and combination product development across biologics and drug delivery platforms. His expertise spans end-to-end device strategy, design and development, verification and validation, quality systems, and global regulatory submissions.

Previously, Tieming served as Senior Director of Device Development at Alexion/AstraZeneca and held multiple device leadership roles at Takeda and Biogen. He has led a broad portfolio of delivery systems – including autoinjectors, pre-filled syringes, and on-body injectors – and advanced numerous programs toward key clinical and commercial milestones.

Tieming holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and an MBA from New York University.
