Nicolas Mourier, Ph.D.

Vice President, Pharmaceutical Development

Nicolas Mourier is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of global experience in pharmaceutical development, with deep expertise in Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control (CMC). With a proven track record in driving innovative drug development, Nicolas has successfully led the CMC strategies for small molecules, peptides, proteins, gene therapies, and various drug delivery technologies from preclinical to commercial stages. He has extensive experience in managing complex external manufacturing partnerships, ensuring robust drug substance and drug product supply chains, and executing late-stage product strategies. He has led the successful completion of multiple drug programs, including sterile injectables, oral solid dosage forms, inhalation therapies, and topical formulations, overseeing everything from process development and validation to global regulatory submissions.

Nicolas joined Fog from Enzyvant, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, CMC. Prior to joining Enzyvant, Nicolas held key leadership positions with Anchiano, Sanifit, Inotek Pharmaceuticals and Celsus Therapeutics. He also consulted for several small and large biotechnology companies assuming various subject matter expert roles where he contributed to the development and approval of several drugs including, obizur (Baxalta), iclusig (Ariad), firazyr (Shire), velcade and mepact (Takeda).

Nicolas holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Marseille II, France.
