Karthik is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in pharma and biotech. His expertise spans financial management, leading and developing finance teams, strategic planning, business development and licensing, capital raising, and operational analysis. Most recently, Karthik served as the Executive Director of Corporate Strategy, Deal Finance, and FP&A at Century Therapeutics. In this role, he spearheaded budgeting and forecasting initiatives, led program and portfolio valuations, and managed the company’s long-range planning. Previously, Karthik held the position of Strategic Planning and Analysis lead at Amicus Therapeutics. Throughout his tenure at both Amicus and Century, he played a pivotal role in capital raising efforts, successfully securing over $800M through various financial instruments. Karthik holds a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of South Florida and an MBA in finance and strategy from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
