Amrith brings more than 20 years of end-to-end experience in pharmaceutical drug development from early drug discovery through marketing authorization and post marketing experience with deep expertise in nonclinical development, toxicology, pathology and regulatory interactions. He most recently served as Executive Director, Preclinical Development, at Organon, leading a team of pharmacology, DMPK and toxicology scientists to manage nonclinical development across the organization’s pipeline of programs in women’s health, biosimilars and other disease areas. Prior to this, Amrith held roles of increasing responsibility at Alexion/AstraZeneca and Merck with a focus in nonclinical safety assessment and project team leadership roles across diverse therapeutic modalities including proteins and peptides, small molecules, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines and viral gene therapies. Amrith is a veterinary pathologist and holds a Ph.D. in gene therapy, virology, molecular and cellular biology from The Ohio State University.
