Jack Russella Pollard, Ph.D.

Vice President, Computational Biology

Jack leads our Computational Biology efforts from Discovery through Clinical Development. His team partners across the organization to infuse data-driven biological insight into our program decisions.

With nearly two decades of oncology Discovery and Early Development experience, Jack is a seasoned computational scientist and interdisciplinary team builder who has grown and led Data Science, High Content Data Generation and Translational Research functions for HiFiBiO, Moderna and Sanofi.

He embraces translational approaches to use multiple modalities of patient and model system data to guide critical path decisions with fit-for-purpose statistical, modeling, and artificial intelligence methods. He has extensive experience using ‘omics, single-cell, spatial and imaging techniques to drive program decisions.

Jack holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular pharmacology from Harvard University, where he studied the origin of life using RNA in vitro evolution as a model system. He is an author and inventor in the areas of biological network analysis and semantic integration. He has been the analytical lead for multiple international oncology consortia.
